RomaniaRentacar.eu is operated by Travis Rent a Car, car rental and transfer division of SC NORD TOUR SRL. We started activity in 2002 in Iasi where we have a fleet of approx. 150 cars, and over time we have created a network of reliable local partners to be able to offer car rental services in the main cities and airports in the country. We want to develop this network to provide services in as many locations in Romania.
                                                                                                                                               

Our services

Occasional car rental for travelers in Romania: Whether you use it on a business trip or on a vacation, you will enjoy a quality, unmarked, well maintained car and benefit from 24/7 emergency assistance. Everything at a fair price.

Occasional car rental for travelers abroad: In certain conditions, you will be able to travel abroad, including in the Republic of Moldova, with selected car models.

Car rental with driver: The service includes quality cars from various car classes, foreign-speaking drivers, with experience in tourism and corporate and fuel. In this way, your trip will be comfortable, safe, relaxing and at an affordable price.

Medium and long term car rental for companies (RENT FOR BUSINESS): This service is addressed to companies that want to avoid the problems generated by managing a fleet of cars. It is a practical solution for the economic management of the transport activity within the company, a good alternative to operational leasing. It is easier to rent a car in the medium or long term, than to buy and maintain it.

Private and group transfers to the main cities and airports in Romania through www.RomaniaTransfers.eu.

Driving tours: Upon request, we can offer tours in Romania and the Republic of Moldova with quality cars and experienced driver guides. You can choose a tour from the standard offer or we can personalize your vacation according to duration, number of persons, route, comfort level etc.

Passenger Safety Seal

One of our main concerns in the car rental and transfers business is the safety of our customers and passengers. That`s why, together with our partners and suppliers, we have created a set of minimum rules ("Passenger Safety Seal") that you can rely on every time you rent a car or book a private transfer in Romania:

Company
•  Vehicle owner is a licensed company.
•  Vehicle and passengers are insured.
•   Regular testing of drivers’ knowledge.
•   ISO 9001:2015 certifiable processes.

Drivers and client relationship personnel
•   Drivers for private transfers are licensed.
•   Drivers are legally employed.
•   Drivers with clear driving record. (1)

Car fleet
•   Registered and licensed vehicles for transfers and chauffeur drive service.
•   Car is not older than 5 years.
•   Car has no alarm signs ”On”.
•   Car has all tehnical checks up-to date.
•   Transparent accidents record upon request.

Health concerns
•   Driver is wearing protective gear. (2)
•   Driver is trained for first aid.
•   Driver undergoes regular medical exams.
•   Car is disinfected before use.
•   Car is disinfected after use.
IMPORTANT: We are paying special attention to interior customer touch points such as seats, steering wheels, door handles and other hard surfaces.
•   Disinfecting material provided in car for passengers use. (2)

Booking
•   Online or e-mail booking available.
•   Online confirmation and documents pre-check.
•   Remote billing and payment options.

Pick-up and drop-off
•   Free of charge at your own adress. (3)
•   Minimum contact with agent / driver.
•   Mobile (contactless) POS for card payments upon request.

Privacy and personal data safety
•   GDPR compliant providers and processes.


(1) Drivers may have been involved in minor damage accidents or in accidents where they were not culpable.
